Repeatedly Loading an XML Document May Crash in MSXML.dll

While repeatedly loading an XML document using MSXML.dll version 5.0.2314.1000, an application may stop responding with the following application error: The instruction at "0x7111a681" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the application. Click on CANCEL to debug the application. If you click CANCEL, Microsoft Visual C++ is installed as the default debugger, a Visual C++ dialog box displays an Unhandled exception in xxx.exe (MSXML.dll): 0xC0000005: Access Violation.
PRB: Strings Passed to loadXML must be UTF-16 Encoded BSTRs

When you use the loadXML method of the MSXML parser, attempting to include non UTF-16 character sequences in the BSTR parameter passed to loadXML may result in the following error message:
An Invalid character was found in text content.
Furthermore, attempting to change the encoding of the string, specifying an "encoding" attribute on the main XML processing instruction, for example results in the following error message:
Switch from current encoding to specified encoding not supported

When saving a Web page using Internet Explorer 5 Web Page Complete option, the quotes may be removed from the attribute tags within that page. This may also occur when saving the page directly from MSHTML using scripting or some other method.
XML Envelope of the AddHeader Component Is Not Y2K Compliant

When you are navigating the Internet Explorer browser directly to an XML file, the XML viewer does not validate the document against its Document Type Definition (DTD) or Schema. By design, Internet Explorer disables validation when XML documents are viewed directly.

When you use the Add or Remove Programs tool in Control Panel to remove a program, and then try to start Age of Mythology or Asheron's Call 2, the game may stop responding. You may receive an error message that is similar to the following:

Msxml file is not correctly installed and a file is missing Msxml 4.0 is not installed correctly and 
is required to run the game.
